Main duties and responsibilities

Kronospan has an exciting opportunity for an Admin Assistant based on reception to join the team based in Chirk, North Wales. The successful candidates will join us on a full time basis and will receive a competitive salary.

Hours of Work

07.00 – 15.30 Monday to Friday with 30mins for lunch
07.00 – 17.00 Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch when covering holidays

Key Responsibilities of the role -

Answer all incoming calls, advise & direct to appropriate party, announcing nominated calls.
Provide first welcome to visitors.
Prepare for customer visits, ensuring correct PPE, e.g. hard hats, is available.
Make tea & coffee for visitors & meetings. Set out buffets.
Provide directions to contractors, drivers & visitors.
Issue contractor vehicle permits.
Undertake various administrative tasks e.g. posting invoices.
Administration of Contractor Clock Card
Any other reasonable duties that you may be asked to perform.
To meet or exceed any specific performance objectives agreed under the Kronospan performance appraisal process.
Adherence to all Kronospan policies and procedures.

Requirements

Working knowledge of MS Office
Preferably Secondary/College education
The ability to work under pressure due to phone calls/visitors increased number at times.
Welcoming and strong communication skills

No relevant admin/reception experience is required
