Job Description & Requirements

To carry out repairs to worn out and damaged parts of kitchen, cabinets, doors, fixtures , furniture and windows.
To assemble and join wooden parts such as doors, window frames and shelves.
To use of nails, screws, drills in the coupling of structural components.
To join woodwork by means of adhesion employing substances such as epoxy resin and polyurethane.
To be able to build wooden structures.
To undertake structural repairs to worn out and damaged parts.
To always ensure adherence to Health and Safety legislation.
To be skilled in measurements, cutting, shaping of wooden materials using tapes, saws, chisel, and various other tools.
To be able to examines drawings and specifications to determine job requirements;
To select and measure appropriate wood and cuts, shapes and drills to specification using saws, planes, chisels and other power or hand tools;
To align and fix prepared wood pieces by screwing, nailing, gluing and dowelling to form frames, shop fronts, counter units, decking, theatrical sets, furniture, small wooden craft, scale models and wooden templates;
To check accuracy of work with square, rule and spirit level;
To maintain and repair woodwork and fittings.

Salary: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
